I am driven to capture things that shift perceptions about the mundane, the everyday, the unassuming. With that also derives a pull to intervene and attempt to affect the fabric of the society we live in, through the lens of socially minded projects.

Since migrating, my work has shifted focus to include my unique perspective of the social issues that surround me. As a migrant, the differences in inclusion, culture and interactions become more apparent - as I can now be part of a community while being exempt from the restraints of subjective attachments.

my work is drawn and created, first and foremost, in collaboration with the artists around me. I see this as a strength and the basis for a more engaged practice, allowing for it to be richer, more diversely informed, and meaningful.
